I gotta say Netflix adaptation of this scene is really good and might even be a lil better than the manga. The directing is really good, The music the actors' voices hit me so hard i was bawling my eyes out!

I have to say though for once, this is a scene I think the Netflix show did better
In the show, Arisu actually ends up finding Karube, but he's looking the other way to avoid becoming the wolf. They share a goodbye before he dies and it makes the scene a lot sadder than when Arisu is running through the building without being able to see any of them. But both are good in their own ways
yeah, I agree with what some people in the comments are saying, it could've been more emotional if the characters were given more screen time to develop first
Chills when the sheep started hiding from the wolf. Although it would be nice if his friends were to appear more often, I didn’t feel much of an impact when this happened
