Just thought of something interesting. It feels like the deaths in Imawa no Michi are relative to when everyone entered their "near-death experience." I'm partly speculating, so bear with me. Yura was the first one to be put on the verge of death, just as he is the first one killed in the other world. Tomii was accidentally shot right after Yura, putting him on the verge of death, and with Tomii dying several days later. Briefly before the truck hits four individuals, the "team" consisting of Hayon, Ayon, Moro, Kimari, and Gamon are put into cardiac arrest; all five of them die right after one another, with Hayon dying first on the fifth day. With that all said, we're now left with the remaining four individuals who were hit by the truck and Kiina, who has been in a coma before all the other eleven individuals experienced near-death. I guess if you wanted to go ahead with this line of thought, you might even think of Kiina as a total anomaly.

i'm surprised that the truck driver was just a good person all along, i thought for sure he would have something ominous about him. THE OLD MAN IS STILL ALIVE EVEN AFTER GETTING HIT BY A BUILDING?

@owlette Back when it was just several chapters in on Batoto, I made a comment suggesting that it was Tomii who purposefully hid those cards in the back of the RV in order to manipulate everyone into killing one another off, just so he could then retrieve their cards without too much effort. It also didn't help that he had the King of Hearts with him. I was even so sure at the time when Kimari was fatally shot that it was Tomii who finally showed up. But god, that twist hit so hard when it turned out to be him.
