man... I was worried when Ouga and Lil Mei suddenly had new forms last chapter but this all but confirms that we're heading towards an axe, huh......
just have to enjoy what's left of the ride I guess, I'm looking forward to the sick ass wrestling match (in the middle of a volcano?!) we'll get to close things out

Saw the writing on the wall, but still... This one was actually pretty cool. Shame it's coming to an end this soon.

felt the axe but this just confirms it.
I like the premise, but it does feel like the manga didn't really have an identity.
It's a "horror-mystery" manga (like biomeat -nectar, that one giant insect island), but that part is pretty much moot since the guy can beat the monster down.
it's an "abusrd-fighting" manga, but the fights aren't that crazy. like he's a smart fighter, and he uses his knowledge to take out monsters, but it still feels pretty grounded, so beating the insane creatures don't really get the same "oomph" you do in fighting manga that does it.
I think if it had leaned to one a bit harder, it might have been more memorable.

That was an awesome chapter, but every page hurt to read because of the ideas on display that will never come to fruition.
This manga is the "literal coolest thing ever" skateboarding hot dog. What can I say? Orphen's new form look awesome. The alien mob were probably each supposed to be a major enemy, and they all look awesome. Tatsumi's evolved form looks awesome. A wrestling death match to the death in the island's volcano crater to determine Earth's fate is awesome. Why is this getting the axe again??
Also, holy crap, my dream of there being a T-rex in this manga, which I had even before the manga started, somehow came true on page 10! Frick yes!! Happy coincidences are awesome. Sad that we won't see more of the T-rex in the future.
