felt the axe but this just confirms it.
I like the premise, but it does feel like the manga didn't really have an identity.
It's a "horror-mystery" manga (like biomeat -nectar, that one giant insect island), but that part is pretty much moot since the guy can beat the monster down.
it's an "abusrd-fighting" manga, but the fights aren't that crazy. like he's a smart fighter, and he uses his knowledge to take out monsters, but it still feels pretty grounded, so beating the insane creatures don't really get the same "oomph" you do in fighting manga that does it.
I think if it had leaned to one a bit harder, it might have been more memorable.
