next timeskip will be Nana inventing faster-than-light travel so the humans can return to earth

I like how we had an abrupt timeskip, and now we have a fun third protagonist. It's especially fun because the concept of using baseball activities and terminology to explain complicated processes is a good way to explain how things work in simple terms, even if it sounds confusing.
I also like their alien fashion. The shirts all have targets around their sternums, which is where the yaluru squirt from. I assume they did that on purpose so that any squirts can be hidden under the dark spots. The human trio also wear these shirts because that's simply the fashion on that planet now, compared to the yaluru originally being basically naked all the time. Along with the full blown neighborhoods, architecture, and so on, the world's development is crazy.
