Thanks for the TL work as always.

Trying not to go full tinfoil-hat on why we're getting a random aside of totally-unrelated sexdroid/human partners also showcasing weird hallucination bugs.
Surely this is just a silly independent short, and nothing indicative of symptoms that might affect our main yuri duo.

Goofy timing as always I just..

Ah whatever, dunno what fugler ayanokji is doing here though, least he looked cool (although devoid of potential Yuri)

Them bots are going full sentient!

I don't think there'll be an uprising or skynet but it's an interesting development.

Is this gonna be the Japanese version of Detroit: Become Human? :thonk:

Keeping "hallucination" as is seems appropriate. In tech, this English word can be considered borderline colloquial for when bots (especially chatbots and image generators) make mistakes. Source: a nitpicky old fossil.

Maybe hallulu, a la "delulu"?

But also the translation is fine as is.

"Halluci" is the new Japanese term for AI hallucination, so that's fine as a translation. I found this out by reading a few Japanese AI papers and having them translated by Gemini, which for some reason couldn't figure out what the term was, so I looked up the exact word in the original Japanese and laughed my ass off when I found it.

Hmm, interesting. I googled it and I couldn't find any references to just "halluci". Besides the AI summary (lol) all my results used the full "ハルシネーション".

Of course I knew what "halluci" was referring to anyway, but I figured it was shortened by the author and not in active use. Good to know!
