Lots of WN authors just use a word in another language.

Actually a lor of real names are words from other languages, or older versions of languages. Especially in Asian IIRC.

Like 20 years ago, I was talking to a Chinese PHD student, and she mentioned that pretty much all her friends knew what the words in their names meant. Europeans not so much, though there is often a meaning. I never bother with my name, but I did look up the name of my nieces and family name.
