myanimelist says it's still ongoing though, which brings me to an unfortunate parallel. I commented previously that the author seemed to be a fan of Masamune Shirow, since the golem design bore a resemblance to a Tachikoma, but I really hope this author doesn't copy his habits, like how Appleseed was left hanging at Book IV.

EDIT: looks like the writer and artists are separate people. Just the same, I hope they get back on the ball instead of just fading into the ether.

While it has been entertaining, I think MC would flourish more going solo instead of continuing with Sword. Also with the time skip being about 2 years, I'm surprised nothing happened to keep us informed about her family.

It was a good time to stop right about the time Sword got forgiven by MC. MC should've stuck to a solo career, but I guess the story needed to become a generic cliche, which means I don't have to care if it gets discontinued or axed. I really miss when stories used to have consequences when their characters messed up, and a simple apology was not enough to return things to the status quo. We COULD have an MC slowly turn into a villain or something due to the crap advice and treatment from the crappy people surrounding them, or at the very least have an indifferent MC that does things at their own pace, why bother with rescuing annoying adventurers that bit off more than they could chew? But nope, our MC has to become a generic hero type, good grief, and good bye.

I think the reason the raw is only up to chapter 9 is because they release the chapters in magazines like Comp Ace

Yes, her goal was to wipe out this world so she'd never have to reincarnate in it again. But Sword wants to change her mind by telling her the opposite thing he told her when they first met.
