Allow translators to add donation links to their releases and their group pages

This is of course in reference to the recent drama.

Already in the credits page many groups promote their patreon / paypal / bitcoin whatever, why not allow them to add links?

Twitch and Youtube allow creators to promote donation links and this exists in addition to having a privileged 'Partner' status where channels can be monetized.

MD is not in position to provide partner status but optional donation links are probably ok no?

or hell even just add a tab for upcoming releases to be shown. Cause while to delay release is nice and all more often than not I don't even know the chapter is out elsewhere unless I was already looking at it. But if there a noticed for the chapters then people could decided to wait the 2 weeks or go to the scan site. ANything would be better then having to check 20 sites for 1 manga that gets an update every 2 to 12 months or whatever or goings to a site that totally won't make my pc explode with malware. As fortunately dumb as this whole ordeal is this could have been handle and "improved" LONG before being an issue.

Or people could just be for non-profit? That includes mangadex because they shouldn't be making money on illegal ching chong comics in the first place. Heck you can host stuff yourself for FREE

Showing it at MD group page is fine but while browsing releases sounds too agressive in my opinion.

Stuff like that should be left on the group's own website/discord/etc which any interested donor wouldn't mind the extra clicks to their page.

Things are fine the way they are. If anyone should get those links, it should be the authors/artists themselves.

You should never pamper whiny kids or they will never adapt to society. IMO.
