Sounds more like you'd want a search option to only include titles you're following.
Actually, you can already kind of do that in your MDList. There's a Tag filter button next to the list type dropdown. The "problem" with it is that it filters your list dynamically, meaning it simply hides unmatched results so you may have to check all pages of the pagination.
