When I saw the various threads pop up about the takedown, Amai Seikatsu was one of the first series I checked.
There's another collection site that seems to be a prominent uploading venue that has, so far, mirrors every series I care about, including a few that were zapped.
I dunno how cool it is to mention the name of that site, so I won't at least for now. It's been floating around in some title/announcement pages, though.
SG, it appears that you're the uploader of Amai Seikatsu there, but I wouldn't swear to it just because I don't know much about how that site operates.
Regardless, I'd love to see you continue to post chapters.
I know people love it, but Discord is a non-starter for me. It tends to blow up spectacularly if you use any kind of privacy-protecting tools like VPNs or Noscript. Frankly, I'd rather go back to using IRC. Getting folks to do something that requires a tool other than a web browser is kinda difficult these days.
Cubari galleries are fantastic, IMO.

Thanks for the chapter, and I'm glad this series hasn't been affected, at least so far. It's an amusing series that I doubt any localization company would touch with a ten-foot pole, so more the loss for us if the fan translation goes.

i cant/wont blame you if abandoning this site for greener pastures, but i greatly appreciate you sticking it out. i only found this series recently, and it holds a special place in my heart now

Thanks for the chapter. I'm happy that this manga survived the purge, at least for now. I wasn't too hard hit as I don't read many popular manga. So far I've noticed that Frieren, Land of the Lustrous and Flying Witch disappeared along with some that I already finished, but most of my subscribed manga are still here. Less popular manga should be safe, or so I thought until I noticed that Division Chief Shima Kosaku was gone. The second part of a manga in some ways similar to this and also published for 30+ years, but much less popular on Mangadex, with just a tenth of the subscribers of Amai Seikatsu (The other parts still there so far). I can't really see anyone bothering to publish that one officially in English even with unchecked MTL. Only a fan would bother, and Hi Wa Mata Noburu does a great job, just like you do here.
What I'm saying is that it isn't just about the valuable copyrights to popular manga titles, there might be more to come. And the coming changes to Mangadex might make scanlators and readers desert it and move somewhere else. Not sure where that will be, but I have moved several times the last 17-18 years and I'm prepared to do it again. If you're going elsewhere I'll come visit, I just hope that I don't have to jump between many different sites, I've been there before.
