Remember how people were given money and asked to stay inside and they all lost their shit and ignored it?
Anyone making a zombie movie now is going to have to have scenes where people post getting bit by zombies on social media to prove it's not dangerous, man. If there's any lesson from COVID, it's that it'd be far more likely that dudes would just ignore the idea that they'll die when they have sex because they're sure it won't happen to them.
But also, the recurring joke is that everyone knows the danger, but the temptation is overwhelming. The fundamental comedy of this manga is that we're shown over and over guys going "worth it" and dying. Being told "listen, you can have sex with this beautiful woman, but it's almost certain that you'll die" and them already agreeing before the second part. It's even more reasonable than people actually would be, cause the fundamental joke is that people believe it, people take it seriously, but in the end they just... it doesn't matter.
Most importantly, and I remembered this from the first chapter, this is a post COVID comic for sure because society IS trying to deal with this. There are lockdowns, there's laws, there's been policies implemented... but people are ignoring them. All the MC's dumb-ass friends died, remember? One fell for an online hoax that said if you wash your dick with coke you'll be fine, and met people through a shady app, one fell for a girl who looked virginal but wasn't, one was proposed to, and took the chance that 1% survival was better than a 0% chance of ever meeting that woman again...
