i'm really happy they got together but i'm just a lil confused tho. He said in the prev chap that he used to be married to his boss' daughter so i assumed that the ring he's wearing now was from that old relationship. But then now he's saying he got it from his male childhood friend to whom he's broken up with. So does that mean he lied about marrying his boss' daughter?

I agree on this confusion I came in here hoping somebody cleared it up I also don't understand why that relationship with the man ended
