Considering the fact that SM kicked Seunghan out of RIIZE because of innocent teenager behavior that fell out of line with the hypersanitized idol image, I think this series's premise is a bit tone deaf.

Not a big fan of this type of system story, Rather than helping the MC it's essentially just torturing him until he does what it wants.

This system is too strict and ridiculous unhelpful. MC can't eat fried chicken because it an unbalance diet and seems to be promoting eating disorder, have to endure every shit because it doesn't align with the idol image, forcing the MC to promote the band in a useless non helpful way, blaming the MC for trying to promote the band because hurt feelings. seriously an idol visual has a limited lifespan especially without any skills and has pride.

The people saying that the system is too strict are confusing me.. guys systems were never meant to be nice especially in idol manhwas i dont understand why yall are mad.. have you seen the hell of system moondae from debut or die has? !!! spoilers→ That system was literally jumping from one person to another forcing them to become idols and absolutely tortured cheongryeo😭 the one here is genuinely nothing compared to that..
Plus honestly as the story progresses u can see that Eden is happy about most of these changes.. yea the system is harsh but it's really not that bad.. for now.
I have gotta agree that in some aspects its a little too much though
