Also Link might be strong but he ain't really buff.

lmao, the bandwagoning over this haircut thing is real. It's like the least of this manga's artistic problems.

I honestly forgot about the horrible outfit and weird muscles, just because the hair cut in the head only panels made me stop focusing on his shape and just read his speech bubbles.

So I guess for others it’s something similar.

P.S. I wonder how the Japanese audience is reacting to this art deterioration and bad styling of MC.

I mean kids are innocent. They lacked tacks and ignorant cuz... well, KIDS. I reckon kids irl would say that too. They're ruthless when it comes to physical appearance after all.

Tacking on to this, cause the LN artstyle is actually really good.. well for the most part, the girls look good. MC in the LN looks like a shonen protag instead of an introvert (or even like a buff introvert, the ln pictures just show generic shonen protag).
