Damn rereading this I’m realizing that his guild friend really is the wingman of the century

Every piece of advice he’s given went over fantastically, almost to the degree that if he didn’t have that advice she probably wouldn’t have fallen for him this hard.

He reminds of the best friend from Ore Monegatari. Romcoms need more benevolent wise wingmen to cut through the crippling density of romcom MCs

It's only 4, 5 chapters and both are already into each other without realising it. And all of it without all this stupid artificial drama, just two stupid teenagers experiencing their first time being in love with someone.

I know we joke about onion-cutting ninjas a lot, but the manga framing Nanami chopping up onions as a pretext to cry is actually quite clever.

there are three routes: 1; she will feel so guilty after a month and explain everything which is good bc at that point they will be in love already. 2; she wont say anything but he will think that why didnt she finish it and he will go talk to her about it, we gonna see some drama and it will be better again (this route is the route a guy getting L or revenge and goes in his way normally). 3; either wont say anything but that doesnt seem likely im waiting a little drama but i hope it dont take too much time.
