Having a tag that can distinguish from currently reading and waiting for a new release, aka a "caught up with all current releases" tag, would help clean up follow list organization.
For example, i'm completely caught up with the ongoing Golden Kamuy, and am currently reading Claymore. The current system puts these two series into the same list. The issue with this categorization is that when I go to see what i'm currently reading, the list is filled with series like Golden Kamuy, forcing me to just rely on memory to know that i'm currently reading Claymore. In which case, what's the point of the follow list?
Imagine if you had a bookcase filled with manga. Some of them you had finished and were waiting for the next volume, others you were in the middle of reading. If you wanted to pick out something to read, you couldn't just grab one off the shelf. My suggestion is essentially to make a separate shelf to separate out the manga that you aren't necessarily waiting on new releases to read
Apologies if this has been suggested, didn't see it within the megathread
