@pyloves2eat A comic/manga store is also translating this series, but they take each chapter and split it in half, which made some readers think the scanlation is behind. So, the app has something like 80+ chapters for this series, but since they're splitting the chapters in half to make more money, they're really on chapter 40 something. Basically, you can ignore it. The scanlation is completely caught up to the raws.

Michi & Nina FUCKING WHEN?
it pains me to see two grown ups denying themselves happiness because of societal issues and past (DEAD) love.

Hey mates,

I read all the available chapters in one go. It's some deep thoughts contents here.
I'm so mad how things turn out, and I think it's what the author search from his readers.
Don't get me wrong, I haven't read a manga that I enjoyed this much for a long time.

Just wanted to vent out xD

The raws go up until chapter 99.

I didn't "read" it in detail as I just want to know how it ends.

Anyway,
it seems that Michii and Niina met and are currently going out. For some reason, they don't seem to having sex but just getting to know each other better. Yuu also seems to be going out with the colleague that he had sex with (i think). In the last chapter Yuu goes with his colleague to a shrine and he is taking a cat statues that apparently represents Michi. There he sees Michi and Nina holding hands, he doesn't say anything and is pulled away by his colleague. Michi sees him and she is relieved that he is not alone. Yuu talks to his colleague and says that seeing Michi has an impact on him even though they are finished. He feels pathetic. His colleague says that having an history together means that he will always feel something and there is nothing wrong with that. She then says that she is going to Osaka and she will wait for them when he is ready.

Not sure why we are seeing this, not sure why Michi and Niina still haven't had sex. Maybe the author just wants to drive home that Michi and Niina were meant to be together and it was not just because they were in sexless marriages or something. Maybe there is still a bunny to pull out of the hat. I think Michi and Yuu getting back together wouldn't make much sense but the fact the colleague is going to Osaka and Michi still hasn't had sex with Niina might be the set up for a twist. It might be that those are just hooks to keep readers interested.

In any case the story is complete and I hope that the author is just giving everyone their book-end.

This has been a nice read but it feels that, similar to many other manga, an entire drama was made out of people who seem to be unable to sit down and have a proper conversation with their partners before something happening that pushes them to it.

Here's a bit of a PSA: if you find yourself unhappy in your relationship and are unable or unwilling to sit down and have that proper conversation, either get some therapy to sort out your blockage or end the relationship. Life is hard enough without so much self-inflicted wounds.

Update! The manga has finished publication as of December 2024. What happens is:

essentially, the story wraps up at chapter 104(?) and it ends with michii and niina under the rain as he prepares to see her parents (indicating marriage soon), with a wrapped up story for both ex-husband and wife as well. You can check out the ending in the site: https://kojimangavip.com/anasite104/#google_vignette -- using a translator.

Personally, I would have preferred to see a timeskip with them and their kid at the very end -- it would emphasise that they resolved all their prior problems and have accepted eachother as their soulmates. I also find that from chapter 94-103, the author just drew lots of standard SOL fluff when we're just waiting for the conclusion, which is not great imo. The author should've instead concluded everything in those ten chapters, and finished all the loose ends (hana's development, the parents, marriage scenes, ect.ect.) rather than wasting too much time on present fluff. Though, it was very satisfying finally seeing them sleep together after a few chapters of slow burn.

Overall, I absolutely loved how captivating this story was (finished it in a night) and I believe it's absolutely peak. The twists and turns are purely outstanding and I believe the ending is very satisfying and the only one that makes logical sense -- and leaves everyone happy in the end, including me. Make this story more popular; recommend it to everyone you know, as the lessons to be learnt in what NOT to do in a relationship are all laid out, and also how important COMMUNICATION is, and the agreement of NON-NEGOTIABLES are in a healthy relationship.

10/10.

If you like horrible people you'll surely like this fmc and the guy she cheats on her husband with. Its the typical shit trope. Husband being distant so she feels lonely so she finds comfort somewhere else blablabla. Author trying to get people to feel sorry for her and villainizes the husband. 0/10.

Bro this was just bad. Its the standard trope of a horrible wife feeling sorry for herself and justyfing cheating that way. There is nothing good about this.

Turns out Kaede was the only decent person here. I hate everyone else hahahaha why did I finish this? I think I just wanted the cheaters to stop being garbage human beings and face the music for their actions. But nah, happy ending hooray (jk though because how can you be with someone knowing that they will be okay with cheating when times are hard??)

Well this is a way better ending that the one from the live action, which was totally against character and her motivations and desires, basically martizing her.

I don't know why some people blame Michi for her actions, and not the husband who was the one not able to have sex with her and cheating on her. As someone who has been the neglecting husband I perfectly understand how the female character feels and how her exhusband can feel guilty for not having sex drive for his partner, and being egocentric enough to think just being there is enough not realizing it sooner that sex is part of marriage and sexless marriages are a cell for the one who is being rejected.

I think the expartners realizing they were the ones propiciating most of the problems that ended up their marriages is a great write, as someone who spend a big chunk of his life in a long relationship, this is a pretty realistic portrayal, because after sometime you start to realize how terrible your behavior was to push someone who once loved you immensenly to take the decision to end up things without hesitation. And you end up wanting the person you loved to have a better life after your relationship. That's part of maturing.

Totally agreed. We live in a no-fault divorce world excluding some 3rd world countries and Islam based countries.
Any cheating in a no-fault country is vile action, doesn't matter how you spin it.
If you still love your partner you try to communicate then take some actions and after you can either go towards ultimatum (doesn't help much it's just a patch work) or divorce....Hell you can get a divorce straight away if you are nothing better than an animal who can't control your physical urges or are so dependent on attention of others.

After reading multiple reviews and comments i just understood it's a story for people who have a boring life, cheating apologists and immature people who want to gain some experience or insight. I'm not any part of above mention people. I've seen cheaters, i talked with them and they surrounded me my whole life - My conclusion? They are irredeemable selfish pieces of shit. (majority of them)
I give my salute to cheaters who immediately reveal their cheating and are not afraid to tell the truth to everyone and when divorcing are fair but in most cases these pieces of shit claim they were the victims in some way, gaslight or turn everyone against the victim and claim more property than they deserve.

FYI: No i wasn't cheated on. But i've seen firsthand what cheating can lead to and how many households can be damaged. How they fabricate lies and alienate people from each other just to cover their asses. Cheating is an action that is in a full control of a cheater they always can stop or could have stopped before committing it. It's a social nuclear bomb that wasn't an accident but a conscious action. My experience include my family, friends and co-workers. I've had enough of bastards romanticizing cheating or making it "humane", i had opportunities to cheat and was aroused but i was always in control and knew better.
I also always had the dignity and courage to say to my partners that we need to break up since it wasn't working out

Sounds like some relationship issues and sex is involved.

From what I see people are saying, this manga just tries to justify cheating because a partner cheated or because their needs aren’t taken care of.

Then I also see that a comment has stated she didn’t even have sex with the guy she cheated for. So its end doesn’t even fulfill the initial issue. Implying sex wasn’t the only thing. They cheated cause they wanted to.
