This reminds me of a joke I came across many years ago, where you ask what do three women, from Japan, Germany, and the US try to cover if you drop them naked in the middle of a city? I don't remember the whole joke, construction and such, but the punchline was something like the Japanese one puts her arms across her body to cover her nipples and crotch; the American one only worries about blocking her crotch from view or only her breasts (can't remember); the German one though just makes sure she can't be identified, by covering only her face as she runs.

Long story short, after all this dmca debacle mangadex changed their terms of service and added the content policy, and although it doesn't in reality change anything, it felt like the scanlators were going to get thrown under the bus.
Nearly none of the stuff in the group got dmca'd though. But group is basically dead anyway.
