The MC is worse than boring, he, as he is now, meant to tilt the average male JP reader's mind toward effeminacy. Everything effeminate about him has been described, but look at how he nevertheless has two gorgeous girls on each arm--and in keeping with that effeminacy, despite being a teen, he can't stand their advances.

This is why, unless you're the kind of person that thinks one can be strong while avoiding manliness--e.g., remaining physically weak--you read this kind of manga specifically for Reifelt and Lifanel. It'll stay that way until the author lets Razel become a male, as opposed to the highly feminine androgynous character he currently is. That said, the art's quite good and has two beautiful leads in the aforementioned two girls--and that's a rare combination, as girls like them (particularly those who look like Reifelt, if an author can even stomach that kind of design) end up either sidelined in favor of a bland or flawed female, or someone who looks like Luciana.

Since that isn't the case, I'm here--and I'm certain that's the case for many. And who knows? Maybe Razel will get some Character Development™ and cut his hair, along with a lifestyle change that eschews croptops.
