It's really not polite to judge someone on appearance. Especially not trying to kill someone because they look similar to someone you know. Twins would be in real danger if that was a legitimate excuse for murder.
Unlikely. What gives that thing away as Azhatoth, at least for me, is the screeching cacophony of flutes Ryou comments on. There's a whole bunch of those alien flutists lulling Azhatoth into slumber or something like that, I never heard of Yog-Sototh being associated to flutes.
I guess he was trying to try to strangle her because he wanted to bring back his sister to life, but instead he got an imitation. Both nephew and uncle are pretty good at describing things.
Dude, you literally evoked an immensely powerful Lovecraftian abomination through a demonic ritual and the only thing that bothers you is that it looks like your deceased sister?
@nightwatch25 I get your point but again we are talking about a man crazy enough to go into shady occult research in order to revive his sister in which he is probably bordering on the edge of insanity and quite successfully managed to "complete" said ritual and summon an eldritch god that is copying his sister's form and still somehow come out relatively okayish. TBH IDK what to expect of the man at this point besides the yammering of a madman.
@pihip to be fair, I don't recall any story where Azathoth was conscious enough to think, let alone speak to anyone. This might just be a hybrid of Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth (which is absolutely fucking horrifying to think about, btw)
