People have shocking bad takes when it comes to women, you can't take EVERYTHING ladies say literally guys like c'mon. If you want everything to be literal, go date an autistic woman or a dude (even dudes don't say everything literally but y'know).

yeah yeah the mmc is kind, fmc can turn her surroundings into a positive atmosphere and that makes both of them wholesome. as long as theyre together its fun cause they love each other.

yeah. sure.

doesnt change the fact that mmc was fucking lame this time. what happened why did his logical character become so braindead that he couldn't have thought this would happen. where is his brain. ah love defn make people stupid.

You just answered your own question. Yes, love makes people absolute dumbasses.

"My Dress-Up Darling" ended pretty much immediately after the two admitted their feelings to one another and got together. We got like... 5 chapters of Marin being over the moon and overbearing, and then an ending so sudden you could sue the author for whiplash.
i see well it was that kind of romcom that the plot is the date itself..nothing after that i was already prepared for the ending after the true date happens

With them basically going out, the manga gimmick (Hinako being the older sister's friend) is pretty much exhausted, and this becomes just a series about a guy dating his (soon to be) upperclassman, which is fine but also whatever. I don't see how the relationship with the sister can be that relevant now and because I think the situations served to Asahi through Tsukiko and Hinako being friends were the selling points, I don't think the series has much more gas.
I'm bearish (and female mangaka know their dramas), but the art is great and Hinako has some great panels so here's to more cutesy stuff.
