Clearly someone had got on her case just because she's pretty, and she was saying that "even though I like myself the way I am, maybe it would be better if I wasn't this pretty? Maybe then people wouldn't constantly think I'm trying to steal their boyfriends, or maybe guys wouldn't constantly approach me and think me being kind means I like them, etc.?", and the guy was saying that it's perfectly fine to be proud of the way you look, and if anyone dislikes that, that's THEIR problem and THEIR fault. Which is true.
