I love his thought process - she doesn't work now, so that money can't come from a job. She already has the money for fuck's sake, she could've just quit.
It seems like mangakas will do everything in their power to include a fucking stalking segment in their work. Although with how normalized stalking is in Japan, maybe I shouldn't be too surprised. I guess expecting an actual conversation instead of clownery is a bit too much from a romcom like this.
