In fact, it's even more embarrassing, cause the villainess is a low level noble here, in ISRE she's a freaking commoner. Why are yall getting so philosophical with the simplicity of the plot. These kinds of generic plots are super popular in Korea and make good income out of it that's why they keep re-making these again and again. I'm sure they're not drawing these to entertain the wester audience as it's Korean and they continue these kinds of series based on the opinions of the Korean netizens.
