Thank you for translating. I find it quite surprising this got an anime (not because of it being any bad, I was very entertained reading it, but because of how short it is). And even more, I sort of recall the anime somehow didn't even get to the ending.

Either way I'm glad Princess survived and got her husbando.

So after combining the afterword with a quick wiki lookup, it seems that the series cover the first evasion of Mongolian on Tsushima island and then Hakata Bay on 1274, which wrapped up in less than a month. The sequel should be about the second evasion in 1281 which ended with massive loss of Mongolian's navy. Funny that this war also gave birth to the term 'kamikaze' - the great typhon that destroyed the Mongolian's boats and army. And no wonder why this series ends quite abruptly to me, given that there is not much to say from both sides aside from the massacre.
Anyway, thank for the translation and look forward to the sequel if the team wants to continue.

Nope. The anime ended exactly how the manga did

Isn't the sequel Angolmois Genkou Kassen ki Hakata hen which is about the Landing at Hakata in 1274?

Somehow I'm glad this has a happy ending, well as happy as it could have been

great one, thanks for translating. I didn't remember the final rampage and duel of kiichi after he got out of the water ending like that in the anime.

They did my man demon face dirty by killing him off screen.
It feels like a bit of an anticlimax I suppose after so many characters dying. Not too many loose ends to tie up, so to speak, although I wanted to know what happened with the young girl who was into ... ehm... the stealthy kid. Look, I'm not good with japanese names.

Huge respect to you all for completing the story. Know this from the anime, and there is no downside from continue reading the manga after finishing the anime. Both adaptions did really great so thanks very much for completing this.
