I don't see how shino is going to do anything to cheer nozomi up... especially not with the hidden gift from his deceased brother.
If the author wants to detach shino little by little from nozomi, I don't think it will end well for nozomi.

It seems the current plan is for Shino and Nozomi to break the co-dependant cycle they created and be individuals again. Which is good, because the co-dependency was toxic af from both ends (though it looks worse on the Nozomi side, because she is the adult).

I still low-key want Shino and Nozomi to end up together, idk why

It's incredible how Nozomi's the source of all the bad vibes in this manga. Like, if you just ignore everything that's related to Nozomi in this chapter, it's actually pretty wholesome. The fact that she's depressed and needy is fine, but it seems like she just wants to drag Shino down with her more than anything else. It's really hard to cheer for her when she doesn't seem to do much except wait for Shino to babysit her out of her grief. Hope the author can work this out and give her a proper arc, for now I just feel kind of annoyed everytime she has some screen time.

Is the yuri ship finally dead in the manga? We don’t even have the shoujo-ai tag anymore. I’m fine with a "no-yuri" ending, but god, this manga was full of baits. Just let me rest for a bit, I’ll be back...

@NightmareWeeb I don't know. We've reach the raws so we don't what lie ahead. I never think Kuzushiro's plan was to have a yuri's ending but more of how 2 girls live after the death of someone important for both of them. I mean, yeah Kuzushiro have done Yuri but afaik also Het. All I can say is wait and see, since we've reach Shino's healing, we probably would go over over Nozomi's healing soon. I think we have maybe with this volume, 2 or 3 mores volumes.

@NightmareWeeb Lilliwyt pretty much says it all. While Kuzushiro does write yuri, she has also done non-yuri stuff and as far as I can tell this isn't tagged as yuri in the Japanese releases either so I feel it is leading more towards a non-yuri ending myself. Though I can't say for sure if it will be or not.

Why is everyone speaking about some kind of love between Tachibana and Shino when there hasn't been anything going in that direction imo? Kind of same thing with Nozomi I think. They have been pretty close lately but I don't think that they never did anything that two close sisters couldn't have done. And if they do finish together I think it would be pretty sad since it would clearly be Nozomi clinging to what she sees of Taichi in his sister.

The only things related to love I can see here is Shotaro and Minato who both have something for Shino and Ritsuko who seems to be having something for Nozomi.
