That’s a good point. Matsuri throwing the ball to his court and warning him the repercussions of his choices, making it a potential story development.

And, as you said, based on the author’s previous work, we can expect where the development goes. To be fair not many authors and publishers have the guts to do incest story outside hentai and self-published works (that I know of at least), so the author really carved his niche and by persisting make his name here.

I'm curious about that as well, will she still be his assistant? She's likely gonna quit but she can't stop being Shizuku's classmate though, and she probably won't immediately ghost her either since she's likely assuming Shizuku's not involved on that recent break up.
It's very likely it's not the last we've seen from Matsuri and would likely stick around and maybe even snoop around Shizuku to confirm her assumptions or report the whole thing to Onii-chan's friend who's also already pretty sus about his fetishes (despite not knowing Shizuku's even more degenerate lol).

And it's likely out of her own love for him as well. She genuinely likes him and probably said that for his own good and future as she's likely concerned about his well being after assuming correctly Shizuku's after her Onii-chan.

It's kinda funny Matsuri's like "I can fix him" but ended up getting caught in the crossfire and kinda making him in a worse state, at least she aborted early before getting hurt even more. Though I have a feeling she'll still get roped into the sibling's situation, since she's still Shizuku's schoolmate and friend. She'll likely try to avoid her but very unlikely to ghost Shizuku after that breakup.
