I get the point of the story. But the memories of pain, the regret, it is no joke yo.
A bite on the finger is light in comparison.
Injuries on or in the mouth royally suck because you can't have anything hot or acidic for a week or more. Or dry, abrasive stuff since that'll make it worse if it makes contact. It is a real bad inconvenience I don't wish upon anyone.

Latching onto the literal part and poorly converting it into shame-based ad hominem because someone has dared to point out female* cognitive dissonance on display through hyperbolized analogy and 'now muh fee-fees hurtz'.

...femlogic much?

*and yeah, "not gay but" is an exclusively female phenomena. you're one google search away from confirming it for yourself.

@nonameanonymous82435 From what I am reading you are saying that only females can experience sexual fluidity? I was making a joke on the other comment because the 'hyperbolized analogy' made absolutely no sense, so I'll explain myself for us to hopefully come to an understanding. Paedophilia[/https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4478390/] is a psychological disorder that has many varying causes depending on the person and is a complex issue, homosexuality[/https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4695779/] stopped being classed as a mental disorder in 1973 due to lack of empirical evidence supporting said stance. Therefore, comparing the two makes no sense in any regard. If I somehow misunderstood the original point of the analogy could you please elaborate?
Another thing to note, you do not know what femlogic is, my previous statement lacked any of it and you still used '...femlogic much?' If you want to continue to accuse me of using femlogic this comment contains something you can misconstrue. Femlogic in the most literal sense is preparing a scapegoat before doing something stupid and using that excuse as an out, me saying that I was purely making a joke could be used as an excuse and clear me of any fault, boom, femlogic applied. If you have a different definition that is accepted scientifically, my usage is referencing social tropes, then please provide sources for me to read through.

P.S You do understand that 'not gay but...' is a meme quite often used by either gender, from my personal experience I've seen males use it more than females. Get that stick outta yer ass. Psychology isn't black and white, stop speaking in absolutes.

Yes, but that's neither here nor there. Why do you insist on bringing up an entirely new concept to the table if you're still struggling with grasping the one we'd started with? That's not what I was getting at at all.

Going to stop you there. It's not my fault that you can only extract literal meaning from language by filtering it through your emotional centers and lack the ability to engange words on more abstract level . If after reading the phrases "cognitive dissonance" and "not gay but" you still don't have a clue what my point was, we'll just have to accept that such is your lot in life and move on.

And no, you weren't "making a joke". It's quite obvious you genuinely believe I was "comparing homosexuality to pedophilia":
Paedophilia[/https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4478390/] is a psychological disorder that has many varying causes depending on the person and is a complex issue, homosexuality[/https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4695779/] stopped being classed as a mental disorder in 1973 due to lack of empirical evidence supporting said stance. and even very quick google search tells me that there have been recorded instances of those type of statements coming from the people at least vaguely associated with "alt-right" environments.

Where's the joke here? In your mind you'd just "compared a nazi to a nazi" (so to speak).
Another thing to note, you do not know what femlogic is
Well I'm not a woman, so I only know it through observation. Good thing that an actual female's gonna femsplain the term to me.

...wait, are we in the "you can't talk about x if you're not an x" part of the conversation?
my previous statement lacked any of it and you still used '...femlogic much?' If you want to continue to accuse me of using femlogic this comment contains something you can misconstrue. Of course it didn't "lack it". You've acted in manner typically displayed by females in arguments, ie trying to dismiss the point you took personal offense at by using shame-based ad hominem character assasination tactics (after all there's no need to worry about what morally inferior people are thinking or saying). And since I've already shown that your "joke" wasn't really a joke, what you did can be summarized as such: you got offended, didn't think your response through, reacted emotionally and - as a bonus point - you also didn't have the courage to admit it and tried to backtrack your intent through plausible deniability angle.

"Boom, femlogic."

Now I'm just laughing at you.

Funny, because my personal experience corroborated by growing body of research (I have a feeling that 'identity' aspect of things is really important to you, so I'm going to play it safe and drop two queer approved names only - M. Chivers and L. Diamond) which shows that it's mostly women who can identify as straight while regularly engaging in same sex hookups and openly declaring preference for female partners, simply because ultimately they can't see themselves marrying a woman. Or while reporting having vivid saphic fantasies and urges. Or while consuming lesbian porn exclusively. Or even while feeling actual disgust toward male body in opposition and excitement toward the female one.

(inb4 "sOcIeTaL pReSsUrE" or "mUh CoMpHeT" - that has nothing to do with nothing here so don't you dare bringing up another subthread to this conversation when we're still stuck on the intial one)

Men on the other hand? They use it memetically, exactly as you'd said. Mostly weebs, and always in relation to extremely feminine presenting, two-dimensional (not real, unlike women) characters. Men aren't watching gender-specific homoerotic porn (unlike women, again - bless be the pornhub annual reports), they're not fantasizing about having sex with other men (nor they're engaging in the actual acts, unlike some women) - they're just "shooting shit".
Get that stick outta yer ass.
...and that's coming from you? Do you have ANY self-awareness?
Psychology isn't black and white, stop speaking in absolutes.
...wow, you're such a girl. Food for thought though: perhaps that's why no one outside humanities is treating that field seriously.

(something tells me you believe in critical theory)

edit: fuck my typos.

Hey, noprob! It's only you who got offended and subsequently embarrassed yourself.

ps. you're doing that again, that shame ad hominem thing.

...I suppose there's an improvement, in this context at least it doesn't seem to be sex-specific. Though given that you'd already wasted an entire paragraph to unironically proudly deliver a sermon about how pedophilia and homosexuality are not the same thing, I can't be sure.

edit: lol, thought so.

@WeeBDestroyer
Just admit you've said something silly.

(btw this marks the second time you've graced this thread with a stupid remark: human sexuality is NOT a political issue unless you want it to be. showed your cards too soon.)
