I don't remember the main route girls being this into Leon when I read the Light Novel version of this (and of course not the Web Novel either).

Leon was even more obscure than this in the main timeline before the duel between Angelica and Marie.

And this was written with the presumption that Leon is basically the destined lover of Olivia, Hertraude, Angelica and Marie.

(Olivia and Leon are the reincarnations of the saintess and hero, Leon is the countryside noble that Angelica marries after being vanished, and for Marie and Hertraude is their only path out of a miserable life)
