if i recall correctly one of the monsters he taught before was a little ghost, so i'm gonna assume this is where they meet monster girl #3.

I believe there was 6 desks in the initial monster class he taught.
Spider, Octopus, Fish, Flower, Ghost and the last one i'm not sure since it wasn't shown or at least fully shown. (did look like something was there in the background but it was always covered)

Also it's such a lame plan to scare them with ghosts. It's a fantasy world, the girls (literally monsters btw) and MC are very strong at magic and somehow they are still scared of ghosts
