This guy was supposed to be a hero but an event or series of events (that have only been hinted at and the timing of which are unknown) happened and he either failed in his mission or ran away from his responsibilities (we don't know which). Either way he's trying to lay low now for reasons that have not been made clear.

tbf, this is likely to give not great results. A lot of things tagged "monster girl" will just have animal ear girls and other extremely surface ones. Honestly, even the ones in this series are pretty vanilla so far, beyond having more monstery past appearances.
