This story is at CHAPTER 31. You do realize, 30s are still low numbers? And this is still in the beginning, still setting up? Hell, it's still volume ONE for crying out loud. This is nowhere near a mid-point and you fools thinking of it as such is why you're frustrated with it.
It's the start of a conflict and you all want everything dumped in front of you ASAP. Let the story develop and those motivations for characters will be revealed.
