MC acts like some middle school or high school kid who just hit puberty. He should have communicated and discussed it with Aria first, but instead he suddenly goes, “for your own sake”. Seriously, his stupidity and denseness are beyond :facepalm:

This is turning into like, one of the weirder versions of narcissism. All that matters is his self-deprecation and misery, everything else must be warped to satisfy his self-flagellation, no need to actually understand what anyone wants or needs.

It's not even something to empathize with, dude increasingly just sort of sucks?

I can forgive him not wanting to get romantically involved with students. But seriously... The other school's principal has done nothing but creep on her, touch her, refuse her refusals, and is an absolute narcissist that probably sees her as just an accessory befitting his own "great self."

And I'm pretty sure Washio's issues stems from being a summoned hero and likely having to kill many monster people under the belief they were "just monsters" or "it's for the best." Him teaching them to peacefully coexist with humanity would make sense as an attempt at atonement. And if that is the case, then this makes his actions even worse because he's trying to force Aria to do something that is blatantly bad for her and against her wishes because he thinks it's "for the best."

I don't mind his self-deprecation or refusal to be loved. I HATE that it manifests as him insisting everyone else is wrong about how they feel or what they want and doing everything he can to convince everyone that he's right and they're wrong.
