so apparently Fikar is from another world too but on his world the demons are stronger and that’s why he was able to defeat the demon king in this world so easily. His past is tragic since he’s been made to fight demons all his life with no one except one person (elf) caring for him. The elf is the one who named him.

@Tanatama It's kind of like trash talk really, to provoke the opponent. If it gets to your head you lose your cool in battle and suffer defeat. Although he did make her the prize of the competition to incite Fickar, he's now asking her whether she'd actually like to go with him suggesting that he never really planned on forcefully taking her away.
