Scummy MC, Its really a good psychological read. But I tell you before reading it prepare another fluffy manga that will cleanse your soul after reading this. After finishing this I felt really uncomfortable & unpleasant, but still an exciting experience regardless...

Oh by the way Its not available in mangadex, in bio there is another spin-off which is available in here. I havent read that one, but the story pretty much close just captured in different artist and storytelling style..

I read this years ago but forgot the title. A failure guy traveled back to the past became kid again, instead of fixing his regret he went bad instead, rape kill, violence abuse. No repent, no redemption, pure scum to the bone MC. I can say its just like a dark version of Mujaki no Rakuen.

Haven't seen anyone mention it so

Desert Punk (https://mangadex.org/title/1135/desert-punk). It's a military/action/comedy manga that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Kanto (which is now a wasteland called the "Kanto Great Desert") about a bounty hunter trying to make a living there. Pretty good worldbuilding, and the story goes from nothing to reeeally fucking good, with lots of treats if you like the military genre, but most important for this post: the MC is scum.
Underhanded tactics, contempt for the weak, borderline rapist (he tries to have his way with a recurring female character several times but never succeeds), greedy to the bone, and confident to the point of arrogance are some of the traits that make the "desert punk" character. Even in a harsh environment that naturally breeds bad people like him, the MC goes the extra mile to be known as THE mean motherfucker you always have to watch for in the mercenary business. He's like that.

I got excited and wrote too much but TL;DR it's a hidden gem, give it a try
