post mangas shows lns (English trans.) with male characters that don't make me wanna blow my brains out
mate just answer the damn questionDon't read any shoujo manga, then.
SL? Solo leveling??A more exciting sl?
Or read bl, def a lack of limpness there 8Dlimp dick? non-exist.
drive? to fuck every living hole
personality? they got every personality there.
this one's good actually thank youThis classic has a mc with the most interesting personality in manga. It's not romance though.
I can definitely vouch for DiMHIdk if our perception of interesting align, but here's a couple from me:
Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru - while mc feels slightly detached or emotionless in the beginning, he's actually got quite a personality and quite opposite of "limp" in both meanings.
Yubisaki to Renren - mc is a cool_guy™, rather affectionate and not an asshole(like you'd expect from character like him)
Horimiya - most probably you've heard about it, but I'll leave it here anyway.
Q, Koitte nan desu ka? - a cute manga with an ok male lead. Unfortunately translation didn't go far, still worth reading.
Gal ni Yasashii Otaku-kun - male lead here might be a bit limpy at the beginning, but he overcomes it rather fast. Plus I'd say you can call him a somewhat interesting character.
Also I'd add Dangers in my heart, as it's really good later on, but that's if you'd be able to bear with mc in the first half. Personally I really like how author portrays his growth and relationships with others around him.
A lot of comedy, a lot of fluff, sometimes cringy but overall really enjoyable.
Oh, I noticed you've read Tonari, maybe this will actually stick too. At least it appeared to me to have somewhat common vibe.
Oh right... I'll also leave this here - Sweat and soap. It's a smut and with a bit of an unusual premise, but it's actually good.
while you say that, it's not exactly true. it is just much more common for male characters to be written boring (for readers to stand in) rather than for male characters to actually be characters. I'm not asking for the moon.To answer your question, "men with no personality or drive" are exactly what you'd find in a romcom, romance or slice of life manga.
Because those genre make it way less exciting (no action, no killing, no horror, name anything thrilling), so the characters are suddenly not very impressive. They're just regular folks
If you want a more exciting romance or romcom, hentai is the next level, just like hazzack said, but I don't think that answers your question either.
A more exciting sl? Doesn't exists lmao, the characters are regular people, what you see in everyday life can't be more exiting than your life if there's nothing magic about it.
So what you're looking for doesn't exists imo, if you want stronger male characters then you'll have to switch genres.
this is a secretHELCK.
