Anybody interested in Breath of the Wild?

I ADORE this game, and consider myself a pro (over 1000 hours) So if you are having troubles and need help, I can help you. If you also want to discus both I'm also down to do that. Literally anything botw related is OK here.

I'm going to continue to sound like a hater, but I really did not like BOTW. Nintendo took a model that worked well, and tossed it away for a bland, empty, open world. I believe before the game came out, Nintendo said it wanted to create a new template that all further games will work off of, like Ocarina of Time. But the thing is, aside from gameplay, OOT's model was based on A Link To The Past's. And, it ain't broken, but Nintendo still tried to fix it.

Also, BOTW had lasting negative effects on Nintendo's games, because everything has to be open world now. Even if it's to the game's detriment.

I fondly remember watching Let's Play videos (the poor man's games) of BotW when it first came out. Probably can't discuss much about playing it though.
One of the things that I remember bugging me was the unicorn (?) motorbike, because it felt a bit disconnected from the rest of the game for me.

Well, at least thanks to this game a lot of gacha (not only Genshin Impact) exist as they're nowadays. Whether that's good or bad...

I like Zelda games, the only draw back is I cannot rationalize getting a several hundred dollar system to play a single game. Especially when I can play more games on PC.
That said... I haven't played BOTW or TOTK... I am famished
