Sorry if theres a specific section for this, but I'm looking for a manga I read a bit of, and wanted to revisit. It's in a futuristic setting I think, with a central focal point being a massive tower, that goes up into the sky, maybe a space elevator. The main character is a boy of middle school to highschool age. Him and his friends have a dream of going up the tower. His town gets attacked, and his teacher ends up being some kind of vampire and ends up turning him by giving him some of her blood. Then they go traveling together. It seemed to hint that it was a sequel of some kind as it talked about the vampires past friends as if the reader would know them. Any help is appreciated.
