I can't tell what the deal is of this witch's follower/family member...

I figured it was him who orchestrated this, but he saved Anz before he got hurt.

Hmm, it acted like Anz was wanting to die.. but I think maybe he was going to use it to activate his special blood powers.
I personally wanted to see Anz fight at full strength. :/ But I knew the author would of had to do something to bring Anz back into the school group eventually. But making Illia and the teacher come out now, was way too soon. I was hoping Anz would kill this monster, turn and make haste to reach his roomies.

@pandacard obviously he fucked up. Drew in unwanted guests not even he can control (since anz mentioned these mosnters are suppose to be found in packs).. Is what I make of it.. Now that all the students are in huge danger (they are not strong enough to deal with the arrival of these new monsters) hes obviously now acting like hes concerned. But then, I also confused why he went and saved Anz first. It was a trap to kill him, or at least cripple him.

@Velsy Yeah, i would have liked to see Anz activate his blood powers, wreck it then go to save his actual friends.
