I think Ashito didn't actually name the person (otherwise he would say his own name lmao?). He must have named a position that has a positional logic against Damian that's easy too understand with a few words but doesn't make sense in terms of 11 vs 11.

On a serious note though, this gives me flashbacks to the early Esperion days when Ashito could only imagine plays where he himself was the finisher. Ashito was taught to look past such concepts and was told directly by Fukuda he could never be a forward again, but this might be the one time where Ashito completely flips that script on its head. It could either be a genuis breakthrough, a complete unorthodox one-off chance that'd never work again, or it will be a complete and utter failure that gets shut down instantly.

Regarding the title thing at the start, why recommend a cover instead of the original LP or some live performance? No cover will make it better than Rainbow.

maybe all his arc from being a fullback is for him to gain something as playing as a striker never could develop, if not we already know a lot of RB or LB players that are great in offensive, so Ashito being more of an striker from time to time is a good touch.

This reminds me when he played with the Esperion guy that was about to retire. He showed him a play that he didn't even think about despite being super experienced.

This is him putting that to use in a real match. Great Job, Asahito. Finally.
