Just read the 3 chapters all together. My prediction was Esperion won by 3 to 2. The previous chapter before seeing kuroda save it, I tot I was wrong. Lol. I think Fukuda definitely raising Aoi as a playmaker or could be the modern day full backs.

Massive thanks thanks thanks for the chapters!

Fukuda tsk tsk tsk x100 troutslaps even if that was an 'educational' move.
What passive 'playmaker' left back? Flick it. Attack attack score score.

FM20 instruction

Prefer pass rather than shoot mode on

Joke aside, some player really just wasted in front of goal simply because they are THE engine of the team. Sometimes the problem of team is the engine is want to be the star or scorer but his work is much more important than a scorer. It's not fun because you are basically the support and not the hero that Aoi aspires to be. Well, to play a good football you need to understand your strength. I never a good dribbler but my kick is accurate so I always happy to take a role as one touch player with occasionally deadly freekick. Sure its not as fun as dribbler and beat defender but I think win is waaay more fun than that

Fukuda is a really horrible coach. The way he drops people to their lowest point and expect them to pick themselves up. He gives them zero instructions. I mean do you toss someone into the deep-end and expect them to be able to swim without drowning. If Hana wasn't around to pick him up, Aoi would be lost forever.

Nozomi is a proper coach because he "understands" the players, he gives enough instruction for the players to figure out stuff themselves.

EDIT: And pretty sure, we established that Aoi isn't the smartest tool in the shed.

@Meo I agree. I can't bring myself to like Fukuda anymore. What the hell is he even doing as a coach? His attempts at "coaching" young teens is simply cruel. It's like he enjoys bullying the young. Wtf.

it's important to remember that Fukuda is Team A's coach, not theirs... the nudging he's giving Aoi is p much special attention. so at this point in the manga, we cant judge his quality. but his one really fat blemish is, of course, REALLY bad. the way he handled Aoi's recruitment is extremely ick. he essentially trapped him. "I kept my intentions hidden so you'd join" is such a red flag lmao... I'm very curious to see how he is as a coach on Team A. i get the impression the author does want us to question Fukuda, so i'm hoping something comes of that later. anyway, Tatsumi best manager/coach yatta
