I've never seen a team absolutely ignore a player ever in a game. That's ridiculous.

Also how did Ao not even see the empty space to make a run, that's poor right there. I wonder how he'll recover.

@Melvin I would say it's pretty normal for a striker who is playing so bad it wouldn't be wrong to label as tactically "useless" just like Aoi was right there.

@vkj3 I see he made it a habit to shill that other manga now. Wonder what happened if I went to that one's comment section and shilled Whistle! even though that's been over for years.

@Melvin

Not ignored, more like the opposite team had him completely on Asari's pocket and Aoi's teammates realized that, so they used him pretty much in the only way he could help, which was by not actively involving him in their offensive game. It's pretty much a reality check.

@RandomDoge They got lucky in this game, effectively only playing with 10 men is more punishing than normal. It makes sense since explaining to Aoi what to do would take too much time though.

@Cynic I'm not shilling anything, the one i quoted is simply better.

Are all mangas equal in quality? hell no. some mangas are good, some are bad, some are meh.

Are all soccer mangas equal in quality? again, no.

That being said, it is still my subjective opinion.

Lol. Ao Ashi is good too! The scanlation just hasn't gotten to the really good parts yet. There's a lot of great developments ahead starting from volume 7. Even Be Blues wasn't that good for me until volume 25.

I loved the art and story line so far but .....

@Melvin I can get that ... And wtf with individual Tactics and its something not learned but in human nature =( there nothing can't be learned.

Esperion has way too many childish, elitistic assholes.
Was there a reason to shittalk him during the game besides to prop up your fragile ego?

Back at it again for the third chapter in a row but I couldn’t help myself. The idea that you can’t be taught tactics is ridiculous. I’m kind of circling around why, but your cognitive capacity to independently produce a complex understanding of a system is not the same as your cognitive capacity to come to that same level of understanding by being taught. It’s be helpful, but the presence of the former is neither necessary nor sufficient for success in a professional application of those systems. A significantly better predictor of success (not including who you know and other outside factors) is how you are taught and how committed you are to improvement. Funny enough, most people like Aoi wouldn’t make it very far, but that’s because of ass wads like these people who should be teaching them instead of making ridiculous assumptions based off of practically nothing. These dickheads are supposed to be teachers man…

Even if Aoi is a "selfish" player, the haters are really getting on my nerves, especially Asari. Do they not realize that Ashito is a part of the team now? How about instead of bullying him, actually give him pointers and teach him. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Date is saying he will never grow because he will never learn... Well freaking do something about it, then! Ugh I'm pissed. I've seen the show, so I won't spoil anything but even now I'm getting unnecessarily heated lol
