Reading comments and seeing people calling Hana manipulative makes me want to scream. Are you stupid??? The boy felt trapped, doomed! Of course Hana didn't want him to quit, she's his fan after all, but that's not why she put Noriko on the phone. Hana reminded him that football isn't worth all this suffering, that all the things he feels he owes his mother are not there to trap him! His mom wants him to be happy, not ruin his life and be miserable!!
