I enjoyed it. Some parts may get annoying and painful to read at times, but it also had great and emotional moments. The ending felt weirdly paced and I felt as though more interesting and romantic scenes could have been added. However, the mangaka was able to illustrate the growth of the characters well and made a decent conclusion to the manga.

Incredibly boring. It reads like artificially crafted school life shoujo and i guess that's the reason behind it's popularity - you can make a list of commonly used setting tropes and check them off as you progress through the chapters. The art is okay. The characters are okay. Their behaviour and reasoning are (mostly) okay. Going by that, it's probably okay if it's your first or second contact with the genre, but in the end "Ao Haru Ride" has nothing special going for it - no quirks, no gimmicks, no surprises. It could probably serve as universal standard for modern romance targeted at pre-adolescent girls, if there ever was a need for such a thing.

I really liked it and most of the comments are so negative that I kinda felt childish for a moment because of how much I like it... But anyways, after reminiscing the emotions I felt while reading this I can proudly say that throughly enjoyed it. :3

I like it! As full grown adult there are some mature aspects to it. Imo, it is a good manga and Im not even finished yet.
As someone who lost a parent young,
there are things that makes sense to me personally. Im usually not a fan of high school drama but this was recommended to me and I am glad it was.
