I love the concept of talismanic food, I really like to cook so seeing a "magic" that works through food kinda warms my soul.

I really like Osceola's design, since his first appearance he is one of my favorites, and now that I know he likes to cook... I like him even more, would love to go to his workshop on talismanic food.

Mephisto isn't telling them all the truth (nothing new), which means the "patched" timeline may be even more complicated than I thought.

I'm following along just to see how it ends. That said I barely have any idea what's going on anymore. The pace is so damn slow.

I personally really like this chapter. Yeah it's like the end of the world situation but it's not constant dragged on fighting. I like this repose they're getting and information gathering and.. just chilling. Especially after they've been through and how much the group is away from each other, they really deserve this before going back to high tension final boss battle. Especially seeing Yukio's and other character's development, it's really pleasant.
Also talisman cooking? I could totally see Rin just taking that up as a part time or even going into that field instead of focusing on front lines as a dragoon. Like yeah he's probably necessary for that but look at how interested he is in learning about this! This could definitely be another path for him to take, and heck maybe he can double major as a dragoon and talisman cuisine! Hey maybe if he marries Shiemi, they could do a joint shop of pharmacy and restaurant xD I just really love this whole idea of Rin's culinary side reawakening and able to use it to help the exorcist! Like he doesn't only have to focus on the combat side of exorcism and he can use his hobby as a job too. It would definitely make him a very unique shounen protagonist than he already is!
