Ok, I know Mami's kind of a thot and it seems like she's only getting close to Taichi because of her own bitterness from her problems with Touma and wants to ruin something that works, but Touma calling her out for it is only going to make it worse.

It doesn't really matter if she's enjoying what she essentially went into with false motives and negative goals. Like, yeah, maybe she's like "Oh shit, games are actually kinda fun and mushroom is smart" but at the end of the day she still wants to fuck up other people's relationships for her own benefit. It's why she reacts so strongly when headband dude calls her out. She's still being a shitty selfish person at the end of the day.

You know, the support cast is surprisingly solid. Like the delinquent friend who acts with surprising insight instead of being a tropey yesman to fill out the background. Very tangible realism in this drama and I'm really into it.

So Mami either picked up a hobby that she can get deeply involved in to forget about her feelings for Touma or she just using the gamer crew to get closer to Touma. It might be both actually, they're not mutually exclusive.

It probably is both but I got this bug on my side telling me that there is something else in my opinion she is also there tossing something or wants to change some how, be it for the goal we are assuming (getting close to the guy) or an actual personal change it comes to mind read somewhere that a girl/woman cutting her hair means a change and she did do change her hear and also her personality some what be it for a selfish reason or not.

@rxfan Personally, I really wish I liked it. I love the aesthetic. Dragons are cool. Seems like a fun game to play with friends. I love watching people play it. I fffffffucking hate playing it myself though. I don't play these kinds of games very often, so I'm not very good at them. I have two MonHun games and I can't get past the weapon tutorial stages because I just hate playing them so much. So yeah, anyone who can get past the difficulty curve despite being a complete amateur at games in general (or can mask their frustration for the benefit of people around them) is a pretty good person

@Ceiye yeah I guess that’s a pretty good point, I watched somebody play it and they made it seem like fun, but also super hard to the point where I think someone like me, who’s terrible at games even tho they play them all the time, wouldn’t enjoy playing it, I guess being an amateur and enjoying it anyway is a pretty good point
