... Even without the idea that she could go with him, why is it so hard to understand that he would be more regretful of leaving her behind and worried than missing the exhibit?
I figure it's probably a japanese culture thing but you see this in a ton of mangas, like it's impossible to even consider that love/social relations is more important to someone than work.
I get that here it's work that he's passionate about but even then he made the decision himself that her well being is more important to him than that exhibit. But no, she can't comprehend that so she's gonna do something drastic to make him go but everything will work out cause manga logic.
It's been the same trope for years now, would be nice to see a character respecting their partner's decision of what they think is more important to them for a change.
