Bad girlfriend. Your trauma is keeping him shackled and furthering his career. Just fucking go with him. Its god damn month. That shit passes by fast.
We have computers to keep in contact.

This turn has me flummoxed. I wonder what he is thinking. It seems a very odd choice... is there something else going on here?? Anyways, thank you for the translation!!!!

... Even without the idea that she could go with him, why is it so hard to understand that he would be more regretful of leaving her behind and worried than missing the exhibit?
I figure it's probably a japanese culture thing but you see this in a ton of mangas, like it's impossible to even consider that love/social relations is more important to someone than work.
I get that here it's work that he's passionate about but even then he made the decision himself that her well being is more important to him than that exhibit. But no, she can't comprehend that so she's gonna do something drastic to make him go but everything will work out cause manga logic.
It's been the same trope for years now, would be nice to see a character respecting their partner's decision of what they think is more important to them for a change.

Welcome back, earlbay! And thank you so much.

Looks like communication isn't enough this time. I really hope Aoko doesn't try to start a fight or even break up with him over this. 😢

Excellent chapter. Glad you're back @earlbay and thank you for the TL.

But also...girl...just go with him. Wtf. Take two weeks off. Go with him to Finland once, then go visit him again. It's just one month.

Cheapest plane ticket to Finland round trip is $1550 or ¥231,000. Big chunk of change,

Things are always more clear in hindsight than in the moment. While we've seen this trope time and again, our characters are facing it for the first time.
