If they ever have a reveal of the father, it should have both women beating him senseless.

Actually ...no, it should have their entire families beating him senseless. Seriously , screw him.

Great choice of timing to reveal heavy shit. I pity one but I get another's anger too. ... I kinda hope his anger and anguish to drag on but this is not that kinda story x)

@monkry It's done pretty well too since the guy knows what he is saying is hurtful. He's aware he's just venting this anger out at someone who doesn't deserve it. But with his situation being what it is right now, plus his friend being proof of his father's affair, it's not an easy bullet to swallow. Especially when he's caught between the anger at his father and everything related to him against the friendship and rivalry he was enjoying. Right now he finally likes playing violin again... and then his father just slams back into that.

I pity them both, i really do

And i know that for sure Aono didn't meant to go that hard on Saeki,. although it is understandable why did he backlashes and also i think it would lead more of respect kind of relationship between the two "son" of the shitty dad.

Also Go Hajimemama pat that son of yours on the shoulder. He went through hell and back and just as he about to fall you were there to help Aono.

Edit1: Also knowing her mom bubly personality... I think both she and Saeki (and his family) could be on good terms with each other... Of course assuming she doesn't had a ptsd of what os happening in the past

I hate this sort of crap. Why does this have to be so painful?
He already had a traumatic experience and just when he was starting to recover when he was starting to forgive the violin and to forget his bast**d of a father, Saeki has to go and ruin it.
Can he be just a little more considerate? Honestly, wth? I'm pretty sure he had an idea of what Aono was going through. To literally bring that up out of nowhere during an EXTREMELY sensitive time... Uh, hey, your father had an affair with my mother and so yeah, we're brothers!
You do not just randomly blurt that out.

I do not blame Aono at all. It's an entirely reasonable reaction. Just think about it. If it was you, you'd probably do the same thing. Can anyone blame him for lashing out?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm hoping that Saeki suffers more and it takes longer for Aono to forgive him. And Aono stopping violin for a while and Saeki feeling really guilty and depressed because he literally was the reason for everything. That would be nice.

Okay. Crazy twists aside, I like how everyone here is pretty upfront with their feelings. I keeps the drama from dragging out and just being annoying. It truly helps that the supporting cast is great at moving the story along

Everyone's always shitting on the dad, but isn't the "mistress" likely to be guilty too? He was a famous musician so it should've been public knowledge that he's married, yet she still "fooled around" with him.
Well, gotta wait until this entire drama gets resolved to really know what went on.

@DarkDooM yeah, i was wondering about that too. Like, shouldn't Saeki's mom be aware of Hajime's mom's status before she engaged in that relationship? I mean it's fine if she wants to commit adultery but when that bastard left, no one should be surprised. For all we know, it's probably just a one night thing and he didn't want to be responsible and all.
