as for my confused friends, think of him like the very embodiment of a miniature universe where all those who work for him exist, not sure about the dark elves and the ones from the present world, but definitely the heroes and the all the units from the game. All lives under him are connected to him directly. Although there's a Hero(Vittorio) who can never die. He'll be summoned after this arc.
Also the most important of all is that there's this nameless evil god and takuto ira, both are same and different at the same time. The nameless evil god is the physical form every mortals can see and Ira Takuto is the Corporeal form or his true form which is actually immortal(not sure though).
These will be revealed much much later

First it was their 4X strategy vs (J)RPG-style enemies, now the enemy is someone who obeys DnD tabletop RPG rules. Given all of Erakino's references to "dice" so far I should've guessed this.

It seems the last chapter's title "Regicide" was technically correct. They did indeed succeed in assassinating him, but now that he isn't quite human anymore (I assume), that doesn't mean he has to stay dead, right? I mean, the way others see him as a shadowy being of black mist should be a clue that maybe he isn't actually a normal mortal human anymore.

Would be fascinating if this was more like an event to get rid of what little humanity he had left, and now a ruthless ruler rises from the ashes, and this world's apocalypse begins in earnest.

But more importantly, where is Atou? I last spotted her in pg. 32 in a daze, but after that she's simply gone and she wasn't depicted as leaving with the 3 enemies, so...?
