It's quite interesting to see how both sisters took different views of love.

This one's for Isla.

I did not expect this. I did expect them to turn into new heroes of his, not new Witches that are an enemy to all, including his own faction.
Also surprised their powers was different from isla's, thought it was a form of inheritance ceremony where they would get same power, or at least something related.

Overall, I really did like the vibes of theirs. Insane twin sisters conceptually on polar opposite themes, that curse the world to oblivion.

Though it really feels like excessive Emotional Damage considering all they did was eat their mother a second time. They seemed rather sane when they started eating, and the huge schism to who they were before it is not proportional. But I'll chalk it up to system/magic-system clash between strategy game and native inhabitant, doing magical bullshittery for Rule Of Cool, and be happy with that.

Even if they do stay sane, at least one of them has to be put down cause she spreads her pain to anything nearby.
Or I guess she could be left alone in a detached building far away from anyone~
In rts game you can't hurt your own faction

This honestly feels very contrived and edgy. The whole "two sides of the same coin" where each one devolves into extreme opposite ends and becomes uber powerful. I like this manga, but a lot of the writing needs improvement. Maybe this is why this manga doesn't see that much mainstream success compared to other mangas.

Perhaps elven mental fortitude is just weak compared to human. We got a lot of mechanisms centered around processing grief and trauma. These things themselves serve a certain function (you dont get traumatised because god hates you). But overall, not enough bad happened to them for this edgy "forever griefing" status to appear. And the younger you are, the easier it is to process these things due to neural plasticity.

Dramatic bitches.
